So I wanted to share this brilliant recipe with you. You probably have all heard of bliss balls, energy balls that are supposed to be super yummy and super healthy.  

At the moment I am working on many new projects and the season in Ibiza is starting as well so I do need some extra energy during my afternoons. But instead of grabbing a cup of coffee or that sugary chocolate bar, have a go at these babies! They are delicious, nutritious and keep your energy levels high without that dreadful down we get from other stimulants. Here is the recipe: 

Ingredients:

8-9 dried dates (soaked for 10 mins)

handful raw almonds (soaked for at least 12 hours) 

1 tsp raw cacao

1tbsp coconut oil

Dessicated unsweetened coconut

optional drizzle of agave syrup (if you have a sweet tooth) 

Preparation: 

Throw all ingredients together into a food processor. If you don't own one of those, just chop everything really small with a sharp knife. Take a tiny amount and roll it into a ball in between your hands. To finish roll your tiny pieces of goodness in the coconut flakes and pop them in the fridge for a to go snack! Enjoy!!!

 

Little piece o knowledge: cacao is a superfood and very healthy especially for women. It's very high in magnesium which most of us are lacking!
